Hi Lou,
I’m a college sophomore just getting into software development.
I saw your tutorial on using flash to create apps for blackberry and decided to try my own.
I made a simple game and generated the .swf and .xml file, but when I go to package them I get this error:
Error: Invalid byte 1 of 1-byte UTF-8 sequence.
This is my command line:
“C:\Program Files\Adobe\Adobe Flash Builder Burrito\sdks\blackberry-tablet-sdk-0.9.1\bin\blackberry-airpackager.bat” -package monkey.bar -installApp -launchApp monkey.swf monkey-app.xml -device 192.168.132.128
I have verified the paths, IP Address, references are all correct.
Do you have any idea what may be the problem?

It looks like you are on a Windows platform, so I’m not quite sure. I would also make sure that your xml does not have any invalid characters. If I had to take an educated guess, I think it would be something within your XML file. I would not use the XML file that Flash generates, because it is geard toward Android.

Hey!
I tried your example for facebbok like button!
And it works fine! (: Thanks! It’s awesome!
The problem is that after the user liked the page, I cannot logout him.
Is it possible to do?
Thanks!

Your example for Facebook posting is great- I’m going to move it to the iPhone, will probably use StageWebView instead of the nativewindow thing. I’ll see. Just looking at it.
Say – I’d love the code for the Study AS3 little iPhone app, I’d like to be able to rebuild it for English as a Second Language practice (my field of teaching)
